Through participating in this mobile game, you become a vital part of innovative scientific studies conducted by The University of Exeter. Every interaction aids ongoing research efforts. Rooted in the success of a preceding online version, this app has demonstrated a significant reduction in users' food consumption and body weight following just four such engagements.
Prior to and post each play session, the FoodT app prompts you with a series of queries. This data collection facilitates our research team's evaluation of its impact on curbing food intake, cravings, and weight. Basic demographic information like age and gender will be requested but no personally identifiable information will be stored by the app, thus ensuring complete anonymity of all shared data.
All gathered information is securely and anonymously forwarded to our dedicated researchers at the University of Exeter. By procuring this app, you implicitly agree to this data sharing protocol (Refer to the terms and conditions for further details).
